News for 2020

Our NGS Open Day in 2020 is on Sunday 5th July.

Groups are welcome to visit by prior arrangement from May until the end of September. All proceeds to NGS. See Visiting Us page.

The "Beast from the East" in April 2018 did a bit of damage, but the plants affected by the snow and bitter winds recovered well. In 2019, the summer drought was a challenge, but the wet autumn has filled the pond and set us up well for the coming year.

2019 was the most successful year so far for Goddards Green garden. In July, we had the best-attended NGS Open Day since the year we first opened, ten years ago. More visitors came in groups to the garden than ever before and our plums, apples and cobnuts sold well.Over £4,000 was raised for NGS charities.

We celebrated being the runner-up Kent Life Amateur Garden of the Year in 2018 and were delighted to be listed by Kent Life in April 2019 as one of the 25 gardens to visit in Kent.

We hosted two WFGA practical skills day this year.

We hope that all of you who have enjoyed the garden will come again in 2020 and bring your friends with you.
